New Belgium's Culture of Film.

Back in the day we didn't really know much about film or video, but we knew a heck of a lot about beer. Then came employee owner, Bryan Simpson, who knew a heck of alot about shooting great video. The kid had even made his own 16mm film, Billy Brown Sox, casting friends from the brewery. We couldn't seem to separate him from his Canon XL1 back then so it was decided that he should probably start using it around here. Then another shooter, Adrian M Glasenapp, showed up, and things became outright dangerous. The rest is pretty much history.

Cruising alongside our own short films, cinema spoofs and general mayhem are in-house documentaries and even TV spots with famous directors. An innate accord binds our story and this medium together on a funky trail fraught with adventure. Why not join in and check out the vids?
