Don't be a demographic. Demand change!
There are a lot of ways to influence the levers of power. All feel like uphill battles – because they are. That’s why we need to mobilize far more people to join together and use our actions and our voices to demand action to create more safe and equitable communities, protect our planet, and much more.
It has to be more than “armchair activism.” No matter what issue you’re invested in, taking real action requires commitment. Skin in the game. But it doesn’t have to be a lot. If each of us were to take a few simple steps like voting in every election, donating whatever we can – from $2 to $2,000 – to a nonprofit or advocacy group on the front lines, and volunteering our time, energy, and skills, those individual steps would add up to something much more powerful.

Who holds power in our society? One big answer: Business.
That’s why, as a Human-Powered Business, New Belgium believes that corporations have a responsibility to use our considerable influence to help make positive social and environmental change – which, in turn, creates lasting benefits for our communities and our bottom line. After all, it’s far easier to succeed in life – and in business – when our communities are thriving, people are treated equitably, and our planet is healthy enough to sustain us all.
At New Belgium, we donate $1 for every barrel of beer we sell to support nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of the world’s most urgent movements for human rights, climate action, and more. And we have a track record of taking action and speaking out in support of policy and industry reforms that would generate greater wellbeing for our coworkers, our customers, and our communities.
We can always do more. And the best way of doing more is by doing this work together.
Below, you’ll find resources designed to help you make the most out of your desire to get more involved, make your voice heard, and participate meaningfully in building a more prosperous, equitable, and human-powered future.
